Neil posted the pic on Instagram alongside a caption which said: “With soooo much iso life and also not far off the end of my 30s it’s about time I get into the best shape of my life.”

He ended his statement with: “this is just the beginning.”

Neil’s followers sprinted to the comments to show their support and encouragement, with statements such as, “you’re smashing it” and “looking strong” alongside some other classics like “tickets to the gun show”.

Throughout this past year Neil has kept the nation moving with free morning dance classes, varying from the salsa to the cha-cha.

These classes alongside regular quizzes have kept both himself and his followers in high spirits.

The British dancer is loved by fans through his performances on Strictly.

His first celebrity dance partner on the show was former footballer Alex Scott in 2019.

Neil and Alex waltzed their way to the quarter final before being voted out.

Unfortunately, last year Neil did not take part in the competition however was involved in the group dances.

Rumours sparked at the time that he was unhappy about this situation, however during The Kevin Clifton Show he stated: “I’m not angry at all.”

He continued: “I’m actually feeling kind of lucky to have a job.”

With Covid restrictions easing in the next few weeks Britain is hoping to see Strictly back on the screen later this year.

Every year there is a lot of speculation on who the celebrity guests might be, and this year is no different.

Some names that have cropped up include Rio Ferdinand, Nicola Adams and even Michael ‘Eddie the Eagle’ Edwards.
