Strictly Come Dancing's Neil Jones has called his short-lived romance to Luisa Eusse the 'worst mistake he's made', according to pals.
Neil, 38, split with the Columbian dancer, 23, in December following a whirlwind five-month romance that saw them move in together.
Earlier this week, Luisa was reported to have filmed herself 'taunting' police and immigration officials over her move to the UK.
A friend of Neil's told The Sun that they are delighted his relationship with the tattooed dancer 16-years his junior fell apart as they branded Luisa a 'nightmare'.
"[Neil] was mortified by her antics recently and said being linked to her was the worst mistake he’s made," they claimed.
"Neil is a decent bloke and is trying to distance himself as much as possible now. His focus is dancing and his career on Strictly which means a huge amount to him.
“Neil doesn’t want Luisa’s name being brought up any longer as for him it’s in the past and the way she has behaved was hugely embarrassing.”
In a statement, Neil’s spokeswoman told The Sun: “Neil is happy with his decision and is busy focusing on himself and some exciting work projects. He wishes Luisa all the best.”
On Monday, it was reported that Luisa had shared a self-filmed video discussing her move to the UK.
According to The Sun, Luisa said on Instagram : "I am waiting for the police. Immigration have my address. But if the police are looking for me why are they not knocking at my door?
"I came to the UK to make my dreams come true. In Columbia you don’t have all these opportunities.
"I don’t need to be with famous people or TV people or DJ people."
Neil's relationship with Luisa is his first since his split from fellow Strictly professional Katya Jones.
While Luisa previously dated superstar DJ Hannah Wants, who was left heartbroken by their split.
They were said to have broken up in July 2020 - when Luisa was first linked to Neil.
