Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse is often left in tears as she commutes to work between countries without her baby.
The South African pro dancer is based in Germany with husband Evgenij Voznyuk and their daughter, who will soon turn two.
During the last series of Strictly, she flew to the UK each Saturday for the live recording, after choosing to avoid “stressing” her child by bringing her along.
“I cry quite often when I’m in the plane,” admits Motsi, 39. “But I’ve never missed a doctor’s appointment. I’ve literally come back home for two hours to take her to the doctor and then flown back. “
Motsi also appears on Let’s Dance in Germany, filmed 90 minutes away from her home. “I come home at 3[am], then she wakes up at 7 and I’m up,” she told Janette Manrara in an Instagram chat.
“I love my job and I’m providing for her. I’m providing for my family so that we have stability. That is so important for me.”

Motsi recently confided that she wants another baby.
The talented performer shared that she and Evgenji are keen to grow their brood as she told: “We both would like another baby and next year we have to make a decision.
“I have found clarity in my head and heart from being a mum.”
Becoming a mum has also had a profound effect on the South African-born dancer and she says it has made her a better person: “I
have learned that it’s OK for me to say no to things.”
The demands of fame and having to promote your social media presence can be relentless but Motsi knows how important it is to live in the real world.
She said: “My husband and I are going to sit down and look at our calendars about the year ahead.
“When I come home now, I put my mobile phone to one side and am only concerned about myself and not worried what everyone else wants. Earlier, I was never separated from my mobile. Now I’m trying to do less on social media. I want to find a balance.”
