Strictly's Max George wears wrist support after painful injury from gruelling workouts

Strictly Come Dancing hunk Max George was spotted wearing a wrist support as he headed to rehearsals earlier today.

The 32-year-old musician, who made his Strictly debut just days ago, needed some extra support for his wrist after suffering a sprain in the gym a few weeks ago.

A BBC spokesperson has reassured the Mirror Online that the injury is "nothing serious".

Earlier today, The Wanted star cut a casual figure as he arrived at the studios ready for his dance practice with Strictly professional Dianna Buswell.

Max opted for a checkered shirt and grey pants, while finishing his look off with a black beanie and a face mask to keep him safe.

He had a nude wrist support tightly wrapped around his right arm.

Dianne, who was also spotted entering the rehearsal room at the same time, opted for a casual black ensemble alongside a light coloured sporty jacket and face mask.

Max also later took a selfie on Instagram where he also showed off the wrist support.

While Max may be taking it easy because of his wrist injury, the singer has just days to prepare to take to the dance floor with Dianne on Saturday.

Having confirmed their partners during the launch show and also enjoyed a group dance, this weekend will mark the first time that the couples will get judged on their performances.

Ahead of the show, Max also shared a hilarious video that featured the Strictly stars showing off their favourite dance moves.

In the clip, that Max unveiled yesterday, the musician teased his 'very technical' dance move and revealed that he hasn't performed it in over 8 years.

The singer the rolls backward and shows off his 'Floppy Fish' but noted he was a little rusty.

"Anyone reckon they’ve got the ‘Floppy Fish’ down?.... It’s an extremely technical dance move which has required years of training so don’t be disheartened if you’re a little off," he wrote alongside the entertaining clip.
