Strictly's Kevin Clifton sparks concern with heartbreaking post about mental health struggle

Strictly Come Dancing star Kevin Clifton has sparked concern by sharing a heartbreaking post about mental health struggles.

The dancer shared a candid quote from new comic book movie Joker, which stated: "The worst part about having a mental illness is people expect you to behave as it you don't."

The Instagram post worried Kevin's fans, with many begging Kevin, 37, to speak out if he needs help.

One wrote: "How very true....unfortunately. Hope you're ok?"

Another added: "You ok kevin. Speak out if you need help."

A third commented: "Thank you @keviclifton for thanking about mental health and mental ill health.

"The more people talk about it hopefully the more we can reduce stigma so more people feel able to ask for help."

Kevin was voted off Strictly Come Dancing last week after failing to impress the judges with his partner Anneka Rice.

He's had a turbulent 12 months following the breakdown of his marriage to wife Karen.

However, he found love late last year with his last Strictly partner Stacey Dooley.

They won the Glitterball trophy, and later went public as an official couple.
