Strictly's Kaye Adams cries as she shares what she'll miss most after show exit

Kaye Adams cried as she reflected on her Strictly Come Dancing exit in her first interview since leaving the show.

The Loose Women star and her pro partner Kai Widdrington exited in the second week of the show, following their upbeat Charleston to Music! Music! Music! However, there were a number of slip ups in the dance-off both for her and her competitor Matt Goss.

Now, Kaye has opened up about leaving the show, admitting there is one thing she'll really miss following her exit from the show. During an emotional appearance on Strictly: It Takes Two tonight, Kaye cried as she was shown her best bits.

Speaking with host Rylan Clark, Kaye explained her sadness at departing the competition so early.

Through tears, she said: "It's been fantastic. It really has. I'm going to cry; it's been a privilege to meet you Kai," and asked what she would miss most about the show, she added: "In a nutshell, I'm going to miss the people."

Kai then had a sweet message of Kaye, thanking her for all the fun they had, as he shared: "Thank you for all the laughs we had and the endless amount of flat whites I brought you in the morning. I'm sorry, I can't keep bringing you them. I hope you take away the joy from it and the fond memories. I don't think your dance career is over just yet."

It comes after Kaye admitted it was the "right result" for her to leave.

Speaking after it was confirmed she would be exiting the show first, Kaye said: "It was the right result and I did make mistakes, and when it comes to that high pressured situation that’s what happen, so I am delighted for Matt and Nadiya.

"The only person I am just sorry for is this wonderful man, who has just been so brilliant. It was a hell of a lot of fun, I said my ambition was to learn to love to dance and actually I have seen a whole new side to myself, it’s opened a little door. It’s been a wonderful experience and to spend time with such talented people who love the show so much has been a joy!"

Professional dancer Kai Widdrington also dubbed Kaye as a "trooper" after a tough week.

Her dance partner Kai also sung her praises, thanking her for always putting in the work, adding: "Only we know how much real hard work has gone into this. There has been lots of ups and downs and we won’t go into them.

"This lady is a trooper, and I know what she’s been going through in the week. For this woman to come out and give the performance that she did tonight really shows the testament to her character. I am proud of you, I know that your girls and your other half are proud of you, but the most important thing is that you should be proud of yourself, because you are a superstar."
