Katya Jones and Seann Walsh were the couple who hogged all the Strictly headlines during the 2018 series of the hit BBC show.
The 31-year-old professional dancer was at the centre of a snogging scandal when she was snapped locking lips with comedian Seann.
Seann's girlfriend, actress Rebecca Humphries, who had supported him throughout his Strictly journey, dumped the disgraced comic shortly after the pictures emerged.
In a powerful statement Rebecca said: "My name is Rebecca Humphries and I am not a victim.
"I wasn't sure whether to respond to events from the past week, but I feel the narrative has missed a couple of crucial elements that I would like to clear up.
"It's incredibly good of Sean(n) and Katya to apologise in the media.
"I have received nothing other than the support of my family, friends and a host of strangers on the internet who all wanted to make sure I was OK."
Katya was married to fellow Strictly pro at the time and the incident put a huge strain on their relationship.
Eventually the couple called time on their six year marriage in August last year.
And Katya revealed earlier this year that she had been blasted by her own mum about her behaviour.
Speaking on The Makers Podcast, Katya said: ”It has been really hard.
"During Strictly last year I had a really bad, emotional moment, I called my mum on FaceTime because I didn’t want people to understand what I was saying.
"I felt so sorry for myself, I was in tears.
“I thought she was going to be nice to me and feel sorry for me, but she shouted at me 'Katya, stop crying right now and toughen up. What do you think that everyone in entertainment and the TV world is going to be nice you'.
"It was such a shock and it was a good thing it was exactly what I needed, I needed a kick up my a***."
The dancer celebrated her birthday last month, in lockdown, and revealed she had a new soulmate - herself.
In a powerful post on Instagram Katya said: "I’m entering 31st year of my life with a heart full of gratitude, blessings, full of love, kindnesses and appreciation.
"I’m dancing into it with people who love me, care for me, who tell me 'you’re gonna be fine' when I need and 'get off your ass & get on with it' when I need too.
"People who inspire me every day, who push me, and who also tell me to seat down, relax and chill.
"But mainly I’m grateful for that one person, who has really proven themselves, whom I love unconditionally, who loves me back for who I am, who makes me most happy, makes me laugh, surprises me, who is my companion at all times, person who has been my rock and has seen me at my worse.
"The one I’m very happy to be alone with...in silence, in isolation, in any situation. My true soulmate. ME. Happy birthday ME, you bloody rock."
