Strictly’s Katya Jones teases sneak peek ahead of celebrity partner announcement

Katya Jones has treated Strictly Come Dancing fans to a behind-the-scenes glimpse at this year's long-awaited competition.

Ballroom pro Katya, 31, took to Instagram on Friday to share a sneak peek at one the many sparkling ensembles she will don throughout the BBC show.

Dressed head-to-toe in sparkles, the brunette beauty oozed glamour as she showed off her enviable curves in a flamboyant costume.

Alongside her latest offering, Katya wrote: "Hello Strictly Come Dancing 2020.

“What will you bring this time? Only one day until you find out all the partnerships."

Although the partnerships haven’t yet been officially announced, Katya recently confirmed that she and boxing professional Nicola Adams are Strictly Come Dancing 's first ever same-sex dance couple.

The dancing queen previously admitted that she would "love" to be a part of the historic show's first same-sex pairing.

Earlier this year, Katya said: "I would love to dance with a woman on the show."

“I think creatively it would be really interesting and I love coming up with new ideas for stuff."

In recent weeks, 37-year-old Nicola revealed that she only agreed to put her name down for the show if she could dance with another woman.

"They wanted to know if I wanted to be on the show," she said, "and I said, 'Yeah, I'll do it, but I want to dance with another female'.

"It's really important, and it’s a big step for the show as well.
