Strictly's Judi Love thanks 'supportive' Graziano for 'sticking by her' after exit

Strictly Come Dancing's latest axed star Judi Love praised her professional dance partner Graziano di Prima for sticking by her, as the pair were voted off the show on Sunday.

The dancing pair found themselves in the dreaded dance off yet again this weekend, this time against Olympian Adam Peaty and his pro partner Katya Jones.

After missing last week's show due to Judi testing positive for Covid-19, the pair bounced back on Saturday night with their latest routine.

But it sadly wasn't enough to get the needed votes from the public, as they were confirmed to be dancing again by host Tess Daly.

They also didn't have the judges on their side this time around, as all four of them saved Adam and Katya, sending Judi and Graziano home.

Following the result, Judi took the moment to share her gratitude to Graziano, and called her epic experience "life changing".

Judi told host Tess: "Can I just say I’m taking Graz home! I will keep dancing.

"This has been an amazing experience, a life changing experience, I want to say thank you to all the professional dancers, the judges, the team, everybody!

"Graziano has supported me, stuck by me, and took me to a place I never thought I could go and so for that I love you so much. Thank you."

Graziano also had nothing but praise for Judi, revealing he had made a friend for life as he said how "strong" she had been.

He told Tess: "She knows, basically. First of all, I’ve made a friend for life.

"She is one of the strongest women I’ve ever met, this woman has been in rehearsal every day, for every dance, given me 150%, and you know what I love the most, you are true, you are real, so thank you so much."

During Saturday's show, Judi revealed all on her comeback and heaped praise on her dance partner for his support.

She said: "It was amazing being back and seeing Graz and seeing everyone because I just love everybody. It was fantastic.

"These few days - it's been rough. I've got to say, my daughter - who is only 16 - mummy loves you so much. Thank you for taking all the responsibility during this time when I was sick."

"I came home yesterday and she cooked me rice, macaroni cheese, chicken and salmon," she added.

Judi also thanked the show for being supportive, and credited it for helping her "health wise".

She shared: "I've got to say thanks to Strictly because doing this dance, getting healthier and fighting Covid, it really has helped me physically and health wise and it's just an amazing experience."

Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturdays with the results show on Sundays on BBC One.
