She said that was glad she had been dancing and improving her fitness before catching the disease and warned her followers to keep looking after themselves.

She said: "I just want to say to you guys, rona is real. I give thanks that I was doing a little exercise and a little dancing thing, I feel like I am handling it much better than I would had if I hadn't been doing a little exercise and a little sweat."

Speaking with a husky voice and sore throat she revealed she had no sense of taste or smell, she said: "I just want to say to you, I'm here. It's been a rough couple of days and it's really about for you to get your health in order.

"Health is wealth and I am not just talking about catching that cheque, I just mean having that health so you can live at your optimum, you can continue creating memories, having life experience, spending time with loved ones as long as possible."

She encouraged her followers to get off their phones and laptops and spend time with their family as she is currently isolating away from her and thanked her fans for their good wishes.

Judi is hoping to perform in this week's episode of Strictly with her professional partner Graziano Di Prima and you can watch them on Saturday, October 30 at 7.10pm on BBC1.
