Strictly's Judi Love risks low score as she swerves Halloween-themed song after isolation

It’s a blood-curdling melody that will send shivers down your spine... er, Olivia Newton-John’s 1981 hit Physical?

Strictly Come Dancing 's production team have a terrifying task on their hands this week, giving the upbeat pop classic a macabre makeover to make it fit in with this Saturday’s Halloween theme.

Providing all is well, contestant Judi Love and pro partner Graziano di Prima hope to return to the dancefloor following 10 days in isolation, after Judi tested positive for coronavirus.

As they won’t have had time to rehearse a ghoulish new routine, they will stick with the dance they prepared for last week - to Olivia’s catchy pop song.

A source said: “Halloween is always the week that the costume, makeup and production teams pull out all the skeletons from their closet and make everyone look drop dead gorgeous.

“But Judi’s track is uninspiring in the spooky stakes.

“It’ll be a devil of a job to make it as spellbinding as everyone else’s, but producers are confident that with a few clever tricks, it’ll be a treat for viewers.”

Other performances include Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice Tangoing to Ed Sheeran ’s spooky Shivers.

Elsewhere, Tom Fletcher and Amy Dowden will put on a petrifying performance to AC/DC’s horror-themed Highway to Hell.

And Tilly Ramsay and Nikita performing the Cha Cha to Gary Paxton’s scare-fest Spooky Movies on Strictly this Saturday, at 7:10pm on BBC 1.

Miss it... if you dare.
