Strictly's Jamie Laing 'dismayed' over Karen's brutal dig at 'sexiness' in training

Jamie Laing expressed his mock outrage over Karen Hauer's brutal dig at his sexiness - or lack thereof - during a training session.

The pair, who will be dancing a Samba on Saturday, appeared on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two as they gave host Zoe Ball an update on their training.

However, Jamie was left dismayed after his pro partner Karen made a pointed remark during one of their sessions.

Jamie explained: "It's an incredible dance - it's high energy, it's so much fun. It's a lot of looking sexy and I ooze sex appeal!"

Karen said: "He keeps asking me, 'Do I look sexy doing that?' And I say, 'It's not about the sexiness! It's about getting the step right!'

"And he's like, 'But I want to look sexy!' And I'm like, 'But - no.'"

Recalling Karen's harsh comment, Jamie said: "I said, 'Do I look sexy?' and she went, 'You look decent.'"

As Jamie made a face, Karen and Zoe cracked up as he exclaimed: "I look decent?! Decent?!"

"A decent put-down from Karen there," Zoe quipped.

The host went on to ask Karen what she wanted Jamie to bring to his performance this week.

Karen excitedly replied: "Bring the bounce, the rhythm!"
