James Jordan was accused of homophobia by Strictly Come Dancing fans after slamming the show's glamorous drag routine.
Fans of the show were wowed as pro dancers Giovanni Pernice, Gorka Marquez and Johannes Radebe performed in drag alongside a giant pink stiletto in a Priscilla Queen of the Desert-inspired routine.
But former pro dancer James didn't appear to enjoy the fabulous opening.
He took to Twitter to pass comment - and many told him they wished he kept his opinions to himself.
Outspoken James put: "Well I have to say I’m glad I never had to dance in a pro dance like that.
"I’m sure many of you enjoyed it which is fine, just not my style."
Fans flooded his twitter timeline with comments - but he quickly dismissed a problem with the LGBTQ+ community.
One wrote: "Bit homophobic there James."
Another said his comment didn't help, writing: "Come on man you know this is going to encourage the homophobes."
A third posted: "You don’t actually 'have' to say it though so instead of inciting hatred just keep this opinion (which of course you're allowed to have...) to yourself."
Another said: "I’m lost for words............. literally."
Mirror Online has contacted James' reps for comment.
He later added on twitter: "For anyone saying I have a problem with men dressing up as a woman... Also Ola might have a few somewhere on her phone."
He posted a YouTube clip of himself dressed up performing All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor.
Incredibly, some viewers took took to Twitter to complain about the Priscilla Queen of the Desert opener.
"Used to be a family show. Will stop watching," vowed one.
Shockingly, another put: "It is one thing to support equal rights and completely another to promote homosexuality etc. "Very sad indeed."
"Strictly gone weird tonight," tweeted another.
