Strictly's James Cracknell voices fears 10-hour rehearsals will lead to an epileptic fit

Strictly Come Dancing 's James Cracknell shared his concerns that his gruelling rehearsals could trigger an epileptic fit.

The athlete, 47, has had seizures since he first fractured his skull after a truck smashed into his bike while he was filming Cracknell’s Race Across America in 2010.

James explained he worries training to hard for the Strictly ballroom could cause him to have an epileptic fit as they are set off by lack of sleep.

However, the Strictly hopeful has warned his dance partner Luba Mushtuk of his condition.

He told The Sun: “Some people get epilepsy from strobe lighting but not me. I don’t want to worry Luba but mine is set off by fatigue. When I’ve had a seizure it’s been because of not sleeping.

“Epilepsy comes with a bit of a stigma. One of the drawbacks is that it’s a hidden disability.

“I think it’s important for anyone who has a profile to get other people to understand it.”

Emotional James was seen wiping away a tear after he received some very harsh criticism from the judges.

Acid-tongued Craig Revel Horwood labelled him "lethargic", while new judge Motsi Mabuse told him to "let us in".

Craig was particularly scathing with his feedback and gave James a 2.

He said: "Your posture posture is your main concern in this dance. You were hunched over Luba sadly. On top of that your bottom was sticking way out. You need to tuck that baby under.

"It lacked drive, you need to put a much energy as you do into rowing into your body."
