Strictly Come Dancing's Greg Wise has admitted that his wife Emma Thompson 'burst into tears' watching him rehearse the American Smooth with Karen Hauer.
Greg, 55, and Karen, 39, performed live for the first time last weekend, and Emma and Greg's daughter were in the audience cheering them on.
During Wednesday's episode of Strictly: It Takes Two, host Janette Manara told Greg: "She was nervous throughout the whole thing," before asking if he had practiced with his actress wife.
"No, no I didn't pass anything by them at all," Greg replied. "And then the evening before the show I said to Em, 'would you like to watch a video of us in rehearsals?'
"And she said, 'yes I think I would', and she watched it and burst into tears!
"Good tears I was told, which I think took the sting out of it slightly for her on the Saturday night so at least she had some kind of idea of what was coming," Greg added.
It's unsure if Love Actually star Emma will be sat in the studio audience this Saturday night, but viewers were shocked to see her there last weekend.
"Emma f***ing Thompson is there?! Biiiiiii**h! I’m dead #Strictly," one person posted on Twitter.
A second tweeted: "Wholly obsessed with Emma Thompson just living her best life in the audience at #Strictly."
A third person added: "Emma Thompson is giving me life on #Strictly."
And a fourth viewer wrote: "Emma Thompson at #Strictly is my favourite Strictly moment ever. She is 100% my favourite actress."
Greg and Karen will be dancing their Couple's Choice dance this weekend and confirmed to Janette it will be a disco routine to the track If You Could Read My Mind by Ultra Naté, Amber and Jocelyn Enriquez.
"Its disco and it's fun," Karen explained as a clip of her and Greg in rehearsals was shown on the screen.
Strictly fans are certainly rooting for the pair, and took to Twitter to comment.
"Greg's disco dance looks good in training. Karen is an absolute genius at getting the best out of her celebs, as we saw with Jamie last year. #ItTakesTwo #Strictly," one posted.
"@bbcstrictly Greg and Karen are so adorable! Seeing them now on #ItTakesTwo has brightened my day immeasurably!" another tweeted.
And a third person added: "I actually do really like greg and karen #ItTakesTwo."
Strictly: It Takes Two continues tomorrow at 6:30pm on BBC Two.
