Strictly's Gorka Marquez sparks concern with mystery health issue

Strictly Come Dancing's pro Gorka Marquez has been treated in hospital just days before Christmas.

The dancer sparked concern among fans as he posted a series of images, showing him hooked up to an IV drip and receiving his hospital food.

He looked exhausted as he wore a hoodie, a baseball cap and a face covering.

Other Strictly stars and celebrity friends rallied in the comments to wish him well.

Amy Dowden said: "Get well soon gorks."

Katie McGlynn said: " Noo! Hope you’re okay" with a sad face and love heart emoji.

It comes just three days after he returned to the Strictly dance floor for the grand final, which was won by EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis.

It is unclear what he was in hospital for but appears that he is currently back at home and on the mend.
