Strictly Come Dancing star Dan Walker has thanked fans for their "kind and encouraging" messages this week.
The BBC Breakfast presenter has been at the centre of "fix" rumours this week after he didn't find himself in the dreaded dance off last Sunday.
Instead, Tilly Ramsay and Adam Peaty went head-to-head, with the latter being sent home by the judges.
Some Strictly fans immediately took to social media to accuse the BBC show of being fixed to ensure that Dan remains in the competition.
However, it seems Dan hasn't let the rumours get him down and has been busy practising for his next performance with partner Nadiya Bychkova.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday morning, Dan shared a special video message with his 241,000 followers.
He began: "Good morning, I hope you're having a lovely weekend so far. It's another Strictly Saturday, it's week eight and we're still here, still smiling, still enjoying it.
"We're dancing an American Smooth tonight and I didn't know much about the American Smooth until Monday, but the best way I can describe it is to say it's a ballroom dance but with a bit of a whallop, bit of Hollywood glitz and glamour. It's really good fun," Dan continued.

"And I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the amazing messages this week. Your support throughout this competition has been great but this week particularly, there's been some really kind and encouraging messages coming through from all over the place which has been lovely.
"So if you want to watch tonight that would be great, if you want to vote tonight, that would also be lovely, but whatever you're up to - have a magnificent weekend," he added.
Dan's video message comes after he released a statement via Twitter earlier this week.
The father-of-three shared a photo of a newspaper front page that asked: "How is Dan still in the show?"
Taking to Twitter, Dan admitted that he is 'incredibly thankful' for being on the show and all the support he is receiving and said he was aware of a backlash against him on social media.
Dan said: "I’m not sure but we are incredibly thankful for all the support and it’s a true privilege to be a small part of the biggest show on the telly.
"I know articles like this are sourced from a few comments on social media but each week I get thousands of messages from people who love the show and are really enjoying watching Nadiya and me dance."
He also noted that it isn't the world championships so not all dances will be of that standard.
Dan added: "When I’ve watched Strictly in the past I have always liked seeing great dancers but also those who learn to love it and are working hard to improve every week. It’s a TV show and not the world championships.
"I never thought I would be able to do some of the things Nadiya has taught me. She has given me a confidence that I thought was way beyond me. I just want to learn as many dances as possible."
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One.
