Strictly Come Dancing ’s Dan Walker didn’t dance at his wedding, but has promised to wow his wife on their 25th anniversary.
The BBC Breakfast presenter tied the knot in 2001 with his university sweetheart Sarah.
But the 44-year-old admitted that he didn't take to the dance floor on his big day.
He told our sister paper The Mirror : “I didn’t dance at my own wedding. I did distraction tactics, messing around on the side. I loved the idea of dancing but it felt beyond me. I’m 6ft 6in, I’ve always been tall and awkward.
“The easiest way to avoid dancing was to be the joker on the sidelines.”
But now he’s been shown the ropes by Strictly partner Nadiya Bychkova, Dan is determined to put things right with his wife.
He said: “It’s always been our plan to have a party on our 25th anniversary, so I’d love us to learn a dance together.”
