Strictly's Craig says his surprise frontrunner is Judi Love after spotting her in rehearsal

Craig Revel Horwood has revealed that Judi Love could be the one to watch on the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Despite being ranked as a 25/1 outsider by some betting companies, the Strictly judge spoke highly of the Loose Women presenter on Friday night.

Chatting to hosts Ronan Keating and Rylan Clark-Neal, Craig confessed on The One Show that Strictly hopeful Judi is the one who has caught his eye in rehearsals.

Sitting alongside Anton Du Beke, the 56-year-old ballroom dancer was quizzed by the BBC presenters about what he thinks of this year's celebrity contestants ahead of the live shows beginning this weekend.

"I'm loving Judi Love to be honest," Craig declared while appearing on the BBC evening show.

"She's a laugh," host Rylan chimed in with.

"She's fantastic," the Strictly judge continued.

"I mean, she was so funny when we first met her. I adore that."

The professional dancer continued to gush about Judi while sat on The One Show sofa.

"Her verve, her energy - it's amazing," he exclaimed.

"That's what the show really needs. Whether you can dance or not, as Anton has proven," Craig joked with his co-star.

Anton then interjected to claim that this year's celebrity contestants to be the 'best line up' yet on the primetime TV show.

Strictly Come Dancing returns to our screens this weekend with famous faces such as McFly star Tom Fletcher, Dan Walker and TV presenter AJ Odudu all competing to take home the coveted Glitterball trophy.

Earlier this week, Craig's favourite contestant Judi revealed that Strictly staff 'measured her vagina' during a cheeky chat on Loose Women.

Speaking on the ITV show, the presenter said: "Obviously its such an amazing thing to be involved in, but my gosh, by the end of it I am going to be so intimate with some people, it's unbelievable.

The 41-year-old then went on the explain the up-close and personal fittings and measurements carried out by the production team.

"I mean, they measured my vagina you might as well say!" she added as the panel started laughing hysterically.

"For what?!" Janet asked her. "What is your outfit going to be like?"

"They measure from your belly button all the way round through to the back. I've never experienced anything like it in my life. I mean proper tailor made to my shape."

Alongside the famous faces taking to the dance floor, The One Show host Rylan will also return to the Strictly family - presenting spin-off show It Takes Two.

The former X Factor contestant will be joined by Strictly Come Dancing professional Janette Manrara when the week-night sister show returns next week.

The dancer will replaced Zoe Ball on the sister show of the much-loved BBC series.

Strictly Come Dancing 2021's launch show airs at 7.45pm this Saturday on BBC One.
