Strictly's Craig Revel Horwood begs Motsi Mabuse to stop giving away his secrets

Craig Revel Horwood shushed Motsi Mabuse during the Strictly Come Dancing 2022 final as he urged her to stop giving his secrets away.

Saturday marked the popular BBC dance competition's finale as Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton, former Britain's Got Talent finalist Molly Rainford, singer Fleur East and wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin vying for the Glitterball trophy.

The four finalists had to perform three routines each whilst the celebrities who exited the competition returned to celebrate an incredible series with the whole cast of 2022. Hamza and Jowita Pryztal, in her first series as a professional dancer, claimed the crown.

Fleur and her partner Vito Coppola's three dances were a judges' pick, a Samba to Hot Hot Hot by Arrow whilst their own favourite dance was the Couple's Choice routine they did to the Destiny’s Child Megamix.

For their Show Dance, they wowed with an incredible performance to the track Find Me by Sigma featuring Birdy. It was after the performance to Destiny's Child Megamix when Motsi revealed Craig's "trade secrets" when the pair and fellow judges Anton du Beke and Shirley Ballas critiqued the performance.

Craig had described Fleur's Couple's Choice routine as "phenomenal" before presenter Tess Daly turned to Motsi for her feedback on the dance.

"You know what, something very special happened today that maybe only I saw that never happens." She then looked at her fellow judge before adding: "I looked to the right and somebody was dancing. He was like ah, ah, ah, ah!"

Tess and the audience burst into laughter before Craig, who was smiling, jokingly interjected: "Don't give away my trade secrets darling!"

The dance was the first of the series to receive a score of 40 when the show went to Blackpool in week nine and the Ant & Dec Saturday Night Takeaway's presenter repeated the feat in the final.

Helen and dance partner Gorka Marquez three routines saw them recreate their Jive to Tightrope by Janelle Monáe at the request of the judges and chose their Couple's Choice to Mein Herr by Liza Minnelli from Cabaret, which received huge praise from both the judges and the viewers at home the first time around. Helen also performed a fabulous Show Dance to the song Shine by Emeli Sandé.

Molly and new professional Carlos Gu, who had found themselves in multiple dance-offs this series but made it all the way to the final, were given the Quickstep to Love On Top by Beyoncé by the judges. Their own Favourite Dance was the Rumba to All The Man That I Need by Whitney Houston whilst their Show Dance was to the track Kiss/1999 by Prince.

Hamza and Jowita wowed with their three routines, including a Salsa to Ecuador by Sash! featuring Rodriguez as picked for them by the judges. Their dance of choice was their Couple's Choice routine to Jerusalema, the Remix by Master KG featuring Burna Boy and Nomcebo Zikode, and their Show Dance to Let’s Face The Music And Dance.
