Strictly's Claudia Winkleman takes aim at Craig over Helen Skelton score

Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia Winkleman took aim at judge Craig Revel Horwood tonight over the score he gave Helen Skelton on Friday night's show.

Claudia, who presents the BBC dancing show alongside Tess Daly, was not impressed that Craig only gave Helen a 9 for her couple's choice dance to a song from Cabaret.

When Craig gave the 9 score on Friday night the whole crowd booed him as they all felt that Helen deserved the perfect 10 for her dance with pro partner Gorka Marquez.

Taking aim at Craig on the Strictly sofa during the results show on Saturday night Claudia said to Craig: "Craig, like what's going on? Why are you so grumpy? I have some words for you, Helen, couple's choice, hello?!

Craig said: "Well, she got through didn't she? Without a 10 from me.

"Listen I loved this routine. I think she can make it better , all I would love her to do is just extend her line a little bit more, arch her back a little bit more and go for more of the extreme.

"That is it. That would be the only note I would give her."

Claudia then played a little reminder clip of how popular Craig was on Friday night when he gave Helen the 9 score for her couple's choice dance.

The audience, and even some of the judges booed him when he started to say that she could have used her 'centre' more in the dance.

The professional dancers at the side of the ballroom could even be seen booing him and putting their thumbs down at him over the scoring.

Motsi even chimed in and said: "It was so painful." Craig added: "It was the biggest boo. It even shook the building darling."

But despite Craig's score the celebrity voted out tonight was Kym Marsh.
