Strictly Come Dancing star Claudia Fragapane has detailed being rushed to hospital after a "scary" accident during a gymnastics trial.
The 23-year-old took to social media to explain what happened after suffering a head injury and a concussion.
Olympic gymnast Claudia - who was partnered up with AJ Pritchard on the 2016 series of the BBC dancing competition - shared snaps of herself on a stretcher and inside an ambulance and dubbed the day the "scariest experience" of her life.
In the post shared on her Instagram page on Thursday evening, the gold medal winner typed: "Most scariest experience of my life happened, the feeling where you don’t know what damage you have done!"
The sporting sensation continued to detail the dears medical professionals had as she told: "I had Doctors & Nurses telling me the worse that can happen. I didn’t have anyone at the hospital with me due to covid.
"My coaches was waiting outside for me for hours. Lying on my back looking at the ceiling for hours thinking what is going to happen to me was the worst feeling."
Explaining what led to her injuries, Claudia told: "When the incident happened while I was competing at my trial on floor I had the best physio & team around me, going through all the procedures & getting me on the stretcher to be put in the ambulance on my way to hospital.
"Everyone was so good to me & I can’t thank everyone enough! I’m thankful there is no damage! I can wiggle my toes, I can walk, I can move my body.
"I just have a concussion so that’s why I haven’t been active on social media lately, I’ve been resting a lot! I scared a lot of people including myself but I am fit, healthy & there is nothing to worry about."
Proving she is set to work on her recovery and continue gymnastics, she added: "Thank you again to everyone involved This won’t stop me ~Frags~ x."
Claudia was only 19 when she signed up to take part in Strictly Come Dancing and the pair made it to the semi-finals.

The gymnast bagged four gold medals at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and in 2015 she won silver at the European Championships and bronze in a team event at the World Championships.
In 2014 she also won the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year.
