Strictly's Amy Dowden labelled 'a backstage diva' on Here Come The Girls tour

It seems that Strictly professional dancer Amy Dowden has a few 'issues' with her Here Come The Girls tour with Dianne Buswell and Chloe Hewitt.

The Welsh-born dance pro reportedly had a series of run-ins with her celebrity partner, Danny John Jules, during their Strictly journey last year.

Now sources have said that her behaviour has led to her to being labelled a 'backstage diva', as relationships become strained on her 40-date UK tour.

The crew who are helping to bring the show to life around the country, have reportedly had enough of Amy's 'moaning' and 'drama queen behaviour'.

The Sun has reported that Amy is not happy with everything from the costumes she is wearing to her billing in the show.

There is also the added complication of Amy's dancer fiancé Ben Jones, who has joined them on tour and there are reports that their relationship has been on the fiery side of harmonious.

A source told The Sun: "Amy has repeatedly complained about her billing on the tour, as well as her fellow castmates.

"She has been moaning about the costumes she is wearing, the number of dances she has, the way she is introduced on stage and the standard of the hotels they are provided with."

While Amy has apparently denied any 'diva behaviour', it is thought that BBC bosses had to speak to her about her colourful language during Strictly rehearsals.

Danny confirmed during the series: “She’s the boss, she wears the pants.”

This was coupled with Amy admitting on Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two, that rehearsals had "become a little intense".
