Strictly's AJ Odudu introduces Kai Widdrington to her parents in big relationship step

In news which has sent Strictly Come Dancing fans into a frenzy AJ Odudu has introduced her dance partner Kai Widdrington to her parents.

Rumours of a romance between the pair have been circulating for weeks and now AJ looks likes she's taken the next step in their relationship.

In a video on Instagram she said: "I've bought Kai to Blackburn. You've made it, Kai. We're at Ewood Park with some of my family.

"This is where I used to work, so it's brilliant. I'm having a great time, are you having a great time?"

Kai replied: "I'm loving it. Wanna kick a ball."

The professional dancer is the son of famous former footballer Tommy Widdrington, who watched the couple light up the Strictly dance floor a fortnight ago.

Fans loved the tweeting: "How is he so effortlessly just part of your family now? Love this partnership sooo much."

The couple's trip to Blackburn comes after AJ liked a post which encouraged the pair to get together.

A fan of the couple tweeted excitedly: “Flipping love @AJOdudu what a top girl! Such a great attitude & lovely personality. I hope she is getting it on with Kai cos she deserves it! #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly #Strictlycatchup."

He smiled: "I'm loving it. Wanna kick a ball."

AJ Odudu has met Strictly pro Kai Widdrington’s parents - giving fans even more reason to hope they’ve fallen for one another.

Viewers have noticed the undeniable chemistry between AJ, 33, and Kai Widdrington, 26, since they were paired up at the start of the series.

And a week after being teased about kissing by presenter Claudia Winkelman, AJ has admitted she’s met Kai’s family - including his mum.

The Blackburn lass told the Daily Star Sunday : “I met Kai’s mum and had a conversation with her on FaceTime, then I met his brother and I’ve met his sister. I’m so excited.

Strictly Come Dancing is on Saturday on BBC One at 6.45pm.
