Strictly's AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington shine as they leave It Takes Two

The stars of Strictly Come Dancing shone in bright and eye-popping colours as they made an appearance after both surviving and leaving the flagship BBC show.

Duo AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington, who made it through to the semi-finals, were pictured looking glam as they left It Takes Two TV studios.

She braved the biting cold in a bare-legged outfit, stepping out with pink open-toed sandals while he looked dapper in suit jacket and tie.

Meanwhile, Nadiya Bychkova also looked sensational wearing a silk rose gold strapless dress after her exit from the show.

Alongside the glamorous professional dance partner, Dan Walker looked subdued after he too was eliminated in the dance-off.

During their appearance on the BBC Two show, they discussed their performance but fans were more focused on the chemistry between them.

The two had been subjected to romance rumours since they joined the season and even kept their lips sealed on whether they were true or not.

Viewers were convinced that the two became a couple after AJ's sweet comment to Kai.

As part of their appearance on the BBC Two show, the pair played a game called It Takes Who?, where they were given paddles of each other's faces to answer the questions.

As AJ picked up the paddle, she remarked: "Oh Kai, you look so good!" which made the dancer raise his eyebrows and smile.

The pair then played the game together and got almost every question right and on the one occasion, they guessed opposite from one another Kai quickly changed his mind.

As host Rylan Clark told them they didn't match this time around, AJ turned to tell him: "Are you joking? You are so distracted," and so Kai quickly turned his paddle around to be the same as hers.

During the show, AJ described her experience on the show as "magical".

She said: "I'm not worried about the rumba. Genuinely, being so close to leaving at the weekend has just made me realise how much fun I'm having. This whole experience is so magical."
