Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Peaty has shared photos of his epic fake tan fail as he trained in the pool this morning.
The Olympic swimmer, who is currently partnered up with professional dancer Katya Jones, revealed he had embarrassingly forgotten to tan his legs.
This meant that while he was brown up top after applying fake tan to his face and chest, his legs remained pasty white.
Sharing the funny snap on Twitter, the 26-year-old athlete captioned the post: “I shouldn’t probably got my legs spray tanned too.
“Completely forgot my actual job requires me to be almost naked.”
But fans were quick to reassure Adam that we’ve all been there when it comes to fake tan fails.
One of his 138,000 Twitter followers wrote: “Brilliant! This is most women on a weekend night out! Only fake tan the parts on show.”
Another tweeted: “So me when I have a tiny hint of sun tan my legs stay white.”
“Prefer you pale! Faking it is never sexy!” a third added.
While a fourth fan simply shared the famous gif of Ross Geller from Friends when he ends up with a triple tan after miscounting to five in Mississippi.
It’s not the first time Adam has shared pics of his fake tan mishaps.
Before the new series of Strictly Come Dancing even began, he and fellow celebrity contestant Tom Fletcher were temporarily banned from Instagram.
This came after Adam and McFly singer Tom shared snaps of their comical spray tans for the show, which left little to the imagination.
In a strategically placed bit of photo wizardry, Tom is seen raising his hand in a high five which just about covers a naked Adam’s modesty.
But although it was meant as a funny snap, Instagram took exception to the image and banned the pair for “sexual activity”.
Tom also posted a comical pic of himself holding up a black thong, which he and fellow star Adam had to wear for their respective spray tans.
He joked: "The Strictly spray tans have begun…and yes, I wore these @bbcstrictly".
Adam has definitely been causing a stir on Strictly this year – and not just for his steamy dance routines with partner Katya.
The swimmer, who has a girlfriend and one-year-old son, made headlines for his alleged ‘near kiss’ with Katya at the end of their sexy Tango dance two weeks ago.
His girlfriend Eli Munro has since issued a jokey 'warning' to any other women interested in the Strictly star.
Miming to a dubbed voiceover on TikTok, Enro says: "If I see you with another girl I’ll kill her"— running her thumb across her throat during the parody clip.
The 23-year-old captioned the video: "I could do with some acting lessons."
Adam is a firm favourite to win the show after him and Katya have consistently scored high marks with the judges.
But will he be able to beat EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis, who is partnered with Giovanni Pernice, to take home the famous glitterball trophy?
