Strictly's Adam Peaty 'forgot he was on a TV show' this week

Adam Peaty told Strictly fans tonight that he "forgot I was on a TV show" during this week's dance with partner Katya.

The pair appeared on Strictly: It Takes Two with host Rylan Clark-Neal on Tuesday to talk about their performance.

Adam and Katya were in the bottom two this week and were saved by the public vote.

Adam told Rylan: "I loved it. I was flowing. I forgot on was on a TV show.

"There is a lot of work to get there as well. We worked so hard last week on all the fundamentals.

"It's unfortunate we ended up in the dance off but you can't control that."

Partner Katya said: "I love Halloween week. You can really tell a story and go that extra mile with choreography and the drama of it."

The pair were given a total score of 29 this week, scoring just six points from Craig Revel Horwood.

They found themselves in the bottom two, and meant they had to take part in the dance off against Judi Love and her partner Graziano.

This Saturday, Adam and Katya will take on a jive to Little Bitty Pretty One by Thurston Harris.

Earlier in the season, viewers thought that Adam and Katya were close to kissing during one performance of the tango.

Adam's girlfriend, who is from Caerphilly, later spoke out about the affect that the moment had on her.

You can watch Strictly: It Takes Two every weekday on BBC Two and iPlayer.

The next episode of Strictly Come Dancing will air on Saturday night at 6.45pm on BBC One.
