Strictly Come Dancing's hidden microphones have revealed secret audio moments before that 'near kiss' between Adam Peaty and Katya Jones.
The couple appeared to almost touch lips at the end of their Argentine tango on the last episode of Strictly.
The dance partners were moments from the end of their routine and staring intently into one another's eyes when Adam appeared to slightly lean in to Katya - then abruptly leaned away.
Eagle-eyed viewers did not miss that move by the 26-year-old Olympic swimmer.
Some fans are theorising that Adam got so swept up in the moment that he forgot he was on national TV.
Now adding another dimension, viewers will get to replay the moment knowing what the dancers said to each other during the routine.
The show releases ‘secret mic' audio of what is being said on dance floor each week.
Posting the clip on the official Strictly social media channels, Katya is heard telling Adam to "push" then "relax" as they danced their routine.
At one point during their sizzling tango, Katya tells Adam to "go, attack!".
But eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out that the clip at the end of their dance - when they had the couple had their ‘near kiss’ - is not shown.
One fan said: "Wimping out at the end of Adam & Katya."
"I’d love to know what was said at the end of Adam and Katya’s dance," another wrote.
While a third chimed in: "You know I love these [clips] so much, but there’s one couple who aren’t really being shown much here."
Adam, who has a one-year-old son with his girlfriend Eiri, hit back after criticism from viewers - accusing people of "getting carried away".
He told Zoe Ball’s BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show: "You don’t want to do a dance like that and not do it justice because you haven’t switched on right at the end.
"It’s about being believable and that’s what some people get carried away with – but hey ho, that’s life."
Katya has kept quiet over the kiss claims, perhaps because it’s not the first time she has got close to one of her dance partners.
In 2018, she was pictured kissing comedian Seann Walsh outside a London pub after a long day of rehearsals.
Seann had a girlfriend - who immediately dumped him when she found out - and Katya was married to fellow Strictly dancer Neil Jones at the time.
Katya was reportedly warned about getting close to her dance partner on this year’s show as bosses didn’t want another Strictly scandal.
According to The Sun, a backstage professional on the show told Katya: "Don’t let yourself down by getting too close to a partner again. Please don’t put yourself in this position."
