Strictly professional Gorka Marquez has been rushed to hospital days just days before Christmas.
The dancer, 31, was hooked up to an IV drip as he was forced to spend the night in hospital.
Sharing a photo of himself looking incredibly tired in a baseball cap and attached to a drip in A&E, he revealed that he had had an "interesting 24 hours in hospital" as he joked about partner Gemma Atkinson's remarks regarding the situation.
He also insisted that he was now OK and back at home enjoying "cookies and cuddles".
It comes just three days after he returned to the Strictly dance floor for the grand final, which was won by EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis.
He wrote: "I was looking forward for Christmas at Home but that was interesting 24h in Hospital @glouiseatkinson thinks it was a excuse to avoid all the wrapping of the christmas presents… Anyway… everything is okey and I am back home having cookies and cuddles of my little nurse. Thanks to the Dorctors and Nurses at Fairfield Hospital for being so lovely to me.
"FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!"
His co-stars on the hit BBC dancing show flocked to the comments to wish him well, with Katya Jones writing: "Oh no! Get better soon Gorks."
While Amy Dowden commented: "Get well soon gorks."
Finalist John Whaite also wished him well, commenting: "I hope you are ok Gorksybabes."
It comes after an explosive final at the weekend, ahead of which AJ Odudu had been forced to pull out of due to injury.
Soap star Rose had gone up against Bake Off star John, with each of the contestants performing their own favourite dance, the judges' choice and their showdance.
Rose was crowned the champion alongside pro partner Giovanni Pernice, who expressed his delight at finally winning the Glitterball after making it to many finals over the years.
Asked how it felt, he said: "Incredible. I have to say, thank you to this beautiful, young lady that made all my dreams come true.
"It took my seven years to get that thing! You became the best dance, the best teammate I could have asked for. You are a dream Rose, so thank you for everything," he added.
Rose then said: "I just want to say you are so amazing. You pushed me to believe in myself. You are an incredible teacher, but not just that, you are a wonderful friend.
"We've gone through a lot, and no matter how busy we get, you've always got a piece of my heart, you really do," she continued as her voice began to break.
