Strictly pro Aljaz heard making dig at Craig Revel-Horwood's harsh score

Strictly Come Dancing pro Aljaz Škorjanec was heard having a dig at Craig Revel-Horwood's harsh score for him and Sara Davies on Saturday night.

Having topped the leaderboard with their tango last weekend, Dragons Den star Sara and pro partner Aljaz were hoping to get some more high scores with their rumba.

But, having watched them dance to Shania Twain's You're Still The One, judge Craig was far from impressed and, after criticising Sara and Aljaz for being "too polite" with their rumba, the notoriously hard to please judge gave them a score of just 4 out of 10.

Aljaz was left open mouthed by the score and, shouting: "WHAT?!" as Motsi Mabuse gave them at 7, he was clearly still smarting at Craig's score.

He fumed: "A 4?!"

Host Claudia Winkleman also looked taken aback by the 4, with viewers at home hitting out at Craig for being so measly.

One fumed: "So Craig gave Sara a 4 and her dance was actually good but gave Adam a 7 ?!? what are the judges watching tonight"

Equally angry at the judge, another tweeted: "I could see where Craig was coming from, but a 4! Really? Sara has very good footwork, and that alone deserves a 7," and a third reacted: "4? Get in the bin Craig!"

Sara and Aljaz's total score of 25 out of 40 saw them finish second to last on Saturday's leaderboard.

Only rugby player Ugo Monye and reigning Strictly champion pro Oti Mabuse finished below them.

They too performed a rumba this week, but after missing last week's show due to Ugo's back injury, came back with a score of just 23.

At the other end of the standings, John and Johannes topped the leaderboard after getting two 9s and two 10s from the judges for their Charleston.
