Strictly pro Aljaz admits he felt 'broken' over Craig's harsh criticism

Strictly pro Aljaz Skorjanec has admitted that he felt "broken" over Craig Revel Horwood's harsh criticism.

Appearing on It Takes Two today with his celebrity partner Emma Weymouth, he was probed on reaction to Craig's description of their dance.

The pair had performed a flapper-style Charleston on Saturday, which had been praised by most of the judges.

However Craig had called it "lame" and host Zoe Ball questioned Aljaz on how he felt about that.

"Honestly, as a teacher on the show it breaks your heart," he said. "Because you put hours and hours into every single second of the day and all you want to do is execute what you've rehearsed."

Despite Craig's comment, the pair achieved an impressive score of 30 after being awarded a six and three eights.

This comes after Will hit out Craig's criticism that he was "too stiff", with the Paralympian retorting that he "has no ankles".

Will, 31, was told yesterday that his freak knee injury could take six months to heal, meaning that he wouldn't be able to return to the programme.

While he was competing, Craig criticised Will for being too rigid and that he needed to up his game.

The sportsman, who suffers with arthrogyposis in all four of his limbs, told The Sun: "Craig said things to me like I should be improving, and I should have, but he also said I was too stiff.

“I mean I have no idea how I’m supposed to do that — I don’t have any ankles, so obviously I can’t do rise and fall.”
