Every Strictly Come Dancing professional wants to lift the glitterball trophy, but there can only be one winner.
After months of dancing, drama and sequins Giovanni Pernice claimed the title tonight with EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis.
The pair were in the final with Bake Off star John Whaite and Johannes Radebe after AJ Odudu had to pull out due to injury.
Rose and Giovanni have been earmarked from the start as worthy title holders, but did their win ruffle Nikita Kuzmin's feathers?
Body language expert Judi James told the Mirror she thinks Nikita, 23, may have been rooting for John and Johannes to win after she spotted some tell-tale signs.
She said: "As he stood behind Giovanni and Rose as they celebrated their win, Nikita’s facial expression made it appear that he might just have been rooting for team John and Johannes.
"As he watched the ecstatic Giovanni and Rose he could be seen holding his hands in a clasp and sticking his lower lip right out in a gesture normally associated with regret or even sulking.
"His eyes did seem to flash up to check the monitors though and at that point his facial expression changed to something approaching a smile."
Nikita was one of the four brand new professionals joining this year’s Strictly Come Dancing line-up.
He was paired with TikTok star Tilly Ramsay, although she couldn't be at the final after testing positive for Covid.
The pair exited the show last month after performing a Samba to Levitating by Dua Lipa.
Upon leaving, student Tilly, who was the show's youngest ever competitor, said: "I’d just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has made this an amazing, positive journey for me.
"From everyone here to backstage, wardrobe, make up and camera crew. It’s just been the most extraordinary time.
"I found out something about myself that I didn’t know I could do, I didn’t know I could dance and have fun like this."
Tilly's speech had her father TV chef Gordon Ramsay in tears, however he wasn't the only one.
Nikita was also overcome with emotion saying: "I’m just grateful for everything, for the whole Strictly team, for the production team, for the costume, for the make-up, for everything.
"Thank you guys, thank you to the professionals and cast, and a huge, huge thank you to Tilly."
The pair were surrounded by rumours of a romance from the get-go after their sizzling on-screen chemistry.
Some fans thought the Strictly Come Dancing 'curse' may have struck again, but both Tilly and Nikita rubbished the claims.
