Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood makes more quips about Kevin Clifton

Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood has made another quip about dancer Kevin Clifton’s romance with last year’s winner Stacey Dooley.

Speaking of Kevin’s up-coming pairing with Anneka Rice, Craig couldn’t resist saying: “I hope he is going to be able to wave his magic wand like he did with Stacey.”

Last month, Craig joked of 32-year-old Stacey’s win: “Of course, if you sleep with your dance partner, that helps.”

He later grovelled: “What I said was hurtful, cruel and incredibly disrespectful. It was a huge error.”

Craig, 54, sneaked in his latest remark after praising Kevin and Stacey.

At the Big the Musical premiere in London, he gushed: “Kevin is having a lovely relationship with Stacey. They really love each other and I think it is fantastic.”

“It is the Strictly blessing rather than the curse. It is not a curse when two people get together.”

Scoffing at the idea Kevin, 36, had been paired with a celebrity unlikely to win as a penalty for dating Stacey, Craig insisted: “I don’t think it was a punishment. He is probably the only one who is going to get Anneka to round two.

“I hope he is going to wave his magic wand...”

Last month, Craig joked that 32-year-old Stacey’s win was helped by her relationship with Kevin, 36.

He said during filming for the launch of this year’s Strictly: “Stacey was dragged up from the dance gutter... of course, if you sleep with your dance partner, that helps.”

Stacey was dating personal trainer Sam Tucknott for three years, but split after she won Strictly.

She and Kevin later started dating.
