Disappointed Strictly Come Dancing fans have accused hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman of 'snubbing' Halloween with their far from adventurous outfits for Saturday's spooky show.
Halloween Week is the live show many viewers look forward to year after year as the wardrobe and makeup departments throw the kitchen sink at contestants' looks for their OTT routines.
But, while Strictly pros opened the show dressed as famous characters including Pinocchio and Jafar from Aladdin and the judges went all out with their costumes, with Motsi as Maleficent and Anton Du Beke as The Riddler, presenters Tess and Claudia didn't dress for the occasion.

While both were in black, there wasn't an element of fancy dress to either of their outfits. And it didn't take long for let down fans to voice their disapproval on Twitter.
One ranted: "Why are Tess and Claudia not dressed up when everyone else is? They’re like the buzz kill at the Halloween party," with another echoing the same sentiments by reacting: "The Halloween makeups and costumes are amazingly impressive apart from the hosts, tess and claudia, who made no effort whatsoever and looks out of place!!!"
Being slightly kinder, a third tweeted: "did tess and claudia not get the message?? it’s halloween huns - still look gorgeous though"
Claudia also got everyone talking online when she pushed Kai to kiss AJ, in the wake of romance rumours surrounding the pair.
After seeing a VT where AJ's nephew urged Kai to do the same, she said: "I would like to say on behalf of your nephew, who we all fell in love with, if you wanted to kiss at any point...now come on Kai!
Not letting up, Claudia added: "Kai! It's the right time.
After Kai responded that he would kiss AJ they got their score, Claudia replied: "Good luck. I'm looking forward to the kiss," before Kai kissed his celeb partner on the hand.
