Strictly host Tess Daly adopts different look as she shares dressed down pictures from behind the scenes

She's known for her showstopping outfits and heels on Strictly Come Dancing but Tess Daly adopted a different look as she posed for behind-the-scenes snaps.

The stunning star, from Stockport, was dressed down in a casual black outfit teamed with white trainers as she smiled for the camera.

'Behind the scenes' the show host captioned one photo from the Strictly studios.

"Back in the dressing room for the first live of the season," said a fresh-faced Tess.

By contrast, on Friday Tess shared an uber-glam look for a date night.

The beauty, who is married to fellow TV presenter Vernon Kay from Bolton, dressed up for the occasion in a sensational feathered dress.

"Date night during Strictly season means feathers are on the menu #extra," she wrote as the compliments came pouring in.

"Omg that is fabulous," said one fan.

For last week's launch of the 2021 series of the long-running BBC One dance show, Tess dazzled in an elegant white jumpsuit.

And it was a typically OTT moment for Strictly as she rode into view on a white horse as the show kicked off with a new line-up.

Fans couldn't get over that mother-of-two is 52.

"She never ages!" exclaimed one on Twitter.

"Tess Daly is 52, she looks beyond amazing!!!" commented another.

"Can you actually believe Tess Daly is 52 years old??" another asked.

"I read earlier that Tess Daly is 52, which was surely an error. Either that or she’s got twelve portraits in the attic.," said another viewer.

And another said: "I hope I look that good at 52. Heck, I wish I looked like that now at 30!"

Last week Strictly fans complained after they clocked Tess and co-host Claudia Winkleman on the launch show.

One fan of the show grumbled on Twitter: "The social distancing between Claudia and Tess is OLD. And out of date."

"Claudia and Tess should stop with the social distance stuff, so 2020," said another.

A Strictly spokesperson went on to confirm that the presenters will continue to adhere to social distancing.

"Strictly Come Dancing has, and will, continue to follow strict government guidelines to ensure the safety of all on the show," they said.
