Strictly final winner odds suggest Hamza Yassin will avoid 'upset' from rivals

Bookmakers are convinced that Hamza Yassin has 'secured' victory on Strictly Come Dancing, before he's even set foot on the dancefloor in the final.

Wildlife camerman Hamza has been an incredible contestant on the new series of the hit BBC show. Since sharing top spot on the leaderboard with the now eliminated Will Mellor in week one, Hamza has never been far away from the summit of the Strictly standings, with big highlights including his and pro partner Jowita Przystal's salsa, which they will reprise in the final and their amazing Charleston from the semi final.

Hamza and Jowita are one of four couples left in the running for Strictly's coveted Glitterball, alongside Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez, Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu and Fleur East and Vito Coppola, but bookies think that the trophy is theirs to lose. William Hill have Hamza and Jowita odds on to win on 4/9, with Helen and Gorka behind them on 7/4, well ahead of Molly and Carlos on 25/1 and outsiders Fleur and Vito on 40/1.

Hamza and Jowita are clear frontrunners with BetVictor as well, with them on 8/15 and Helen and Gorka slightly closer behind on 6/4. Molly and Carlos are on the same odds of 25/1, while Fleur and Vito further behind on 50/1.

Commenting on the final odds, BetVixtor's Sam said: "Saturday evening is the grand final and by the end of the night we’ll have our 2022 Strictly winner. The remaining four couples set to take on three routines each – a brand new showdance and two previous routines, one chosen by the judges and a favourite chosen by the couples themselves.”

“Hamza is still our favourite to win at 8/15. He’s dominated the market throughout the series, some lucky punters backed him early in the series sat on prices as big as 25/1. Hamza and Jowita’s favourite dance is Couple’s Choice to Jerusalema – Remix by Master KG featuring Burna Boy and Nomcebo Zikode.”

“Helen Skelton is close behind Hamza, as she comes in at 6/4. Helen and Gorka’s favourite dance of the series will be their iconic Couple’s Choice to Mein Herr by Liza Minnelli (from Cabaret).”

“Molly Rainford is 25/1, Molly and Carlos’ favourite dance is Rumba to All the Man That I Need by Whitney Houston. “Fleur East is 50/1, Fleur and Vito’s Couple’s Choice to Destiny’s Child Megamix by Destiny’s Child.”
