Strictly fans 'teary' after Giovanni Pernice's sweet addition to dance for Rose Ayling-Ellis

Strictly Come Dancing fans loved Giovanni Pernice's sweet addition to his dance for Rose Ayling-Ellis.

The soap actress and Italian dancer took to the floor with a Viennese waltz to the Alicia Keys song Fallin'.

Rose took on the character of a woman conflicted over leaving her lover.

Shirley Ballas was impressed and quipped: "It was like watching my own life story there with my ex-husband."

The judges gave her 37 out of a potential 40 points, with Motsi Mabuse giving Rose and Giovanni a score of 10.

But fans loved the fact that Giovanni included sign language at the beginning of the routine.

Susan tweeted: "Loved that Giovanni added sign language into the routine. That was lovely of him to do that. The choreography was wonderful to watch."

Izzy said: "Seeing Giovanni and Rose sign in the dance made me teary."

Chloe added: "Love how they incorporated sign into the routine. rose dances so beautifully and I loveee their partnership."

Hadley tweeted: "YES to incorporating sign language into the choreography for both performers!I loved that."

Emily said: "I love that @pernicegiovann1 put sign language into the dance."

Honey tweeted: "I love sign language and when it's incorporated into a dance, wow, just wow!"

And Karen wrote: "I love how @pernicegiovann1 is taking time to learn sign language in a way their both learning a new skill."
