Strictly Come Dancing viewers have noticed a marked change in professional dancer Giovanni Pernice this series, and are quick to thank partner Rose Ayling-Ellis.
The duo were back on screens for the ballroom dancing show last night after they made history in the BBC One competition last weekend.
The 26-year-old EastEnders star attempted to live up to her perfect score victory with a samba to Cinema Italiano by Kate Hudson.
The duo were awarded a score of 32, their highest marking for a Latin dance, and received positive praise from the judges.
As well as the intense work schedule that comes with Strictly Come Dancing, Giovanni has had to deal with the break-down of his relationship with Maura Higgins during the series.
Giovanni caught viewers' attention and Shirley who told him he is "second to none when it comes to teaching these skills".
One fan said: "Giovanni is so different this series - replaced, happy, entertaining - a good partner makes the difference. My winner!"
