Dan Walker became the tenth contestant to be eliminated from Strictly after facing AJ Odudu in the dreaded dance off.
BBC Breakfast presenter Dan and his partner Nadiya Bychkova, who performed a tango to Santa Maria by Gotan Project, missed out on a place in the Strictly Come Dancing semi-finals to AJ and her partner Kai Widdrington.
As all four judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas all opted to save AJ and Kai, Dan agreed with them.

“By the way I would have saved AJ and Kai as well!" he told host Tess Daly.

Last week Dan defended getting to the quarter finals after Strictly fans questioned him making it so far in the competition.
And viewers tweeted to say it was the right result this weekend.
@visceralview said: "#Strictly At last justice served. The BEST are in the semi final as it should be."
@HiftleJanice tweeted: "Right result. Thankfully the best dancers are left."
@Phil_Atherton said: "Justice is served at last. Dan has danced well for a non-dancer, but should have gone 2-3weeks ago IMHO."

And @hannahsophia_wrote: "Definitely the right decision but HATE seeing all the abusive comments directed at Dan.
"He’s improved so much over the weeks and is exactly what Strictly is about. Well done Dan."
Dan fans were sad to see him go with @molltrot saying: "Dan is a gentleman, such genuine humility."
@mediagirl02 asked: "Why are you being so nasty Dan knew he was going the main thing is he had fun and enjoyed the experience he can't help it if the public keep voting him in."
@SHANEOfficial_ defended: "Well done for giving the competition a good go, Dan.
"You have certainly come a long way for a non-dancer."
And @LindaMPrice said: "Really sad to see Dan leave #Strictly. I really think he has improved the most.
"He should be so proud to have come this far."
Last weekend Dan tweeted about the result: "Thank you to everyone who is sending lovely messages & enjoying us having fun on #Strictly and to the few who say…'just leave', 'aren’t you ashamed?', 'you’re a disgrace', 'It’s a fix' (which I don’t get) or 'who is voting for them?' IT’S A TV SHOW!"
Dancing in the semi-finals with AJ and Kai will be Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu, Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice and John Whaite and Johannes Radebe.
