Strictly fans rejoice as Kelvin Fletcher FINALLY gets perfect score - and he was lost for words

The semi-finals have kicked off on Strictly Come Dancing and Kelvin Fletcher got off to the perfect start.

Fans of the glitzy BBC One show rejoiced as the former Emmerdale actor picked up his first full-house - four tens to make the perfect score.

It comes just a week after fans of Kelvin and dance partner Oti Mabuse hit out at judge Craig Revel Horwood for failing to give Kelvin Fletcher the score they think he deserves.

But during tonight's show, the dancing pair's fortune changed as they took to the floor for the first time with a Quickstep to The Lady Is A Tramp.

"How many weeks have I been tweeting about Kelvin and Oti getting the 40 they deserve?! It’s finally happened! So so happy for them," tweeted one pleased fan.

Another viewer screamed: "NO ONE DESERVES IT MORE #strictly."

"This is the first time I've ever felt emotional about a dancer getting 40 on #Strictly Kelvin is what it's all about," added a third.

Whilst another comment read: "Definitely deserved! That 40, was a long time coming!"

And we are sure it felt like a long time coming for Kelvin too as the actor was lost for words after the judges scores were revealed.

Kelvin and Oti are the second couple to receive a perfect score this series following Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden last weekend.
