Strictly fans raise their eyebrows after Giovanni sends New Year message to fellow winner Rose

Strictly pro Giovanni Pernice left fans of the show raising their eyebrows after he sent winning dance partner Rose Ayling-Ellis a New Year message on Instagram

Giovanni, 31, and Eastenders actress Rose, 27 built up a special friendship during their history-making sting on the hit BBC show.

Rose decided to shared some pictures from the past year on her Insta, and wrote alongside the meaningful images: "Stay afraid, but do it anyway. What's important is the action. You don't have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually the confidence will follow."

She added: "That definitely what 2021 did for me, the year of growth, discovery and surprises.

"I cannot wait to see what 2022 would bring."

Giovanni couldn't resist replying to the post which features images of Rose with him on the show as well as with her Eastenders cast members.

He replied by emoji - choosing to post nine heart emojis in a row.

Fans couldn't believe his response pointing out that they were one short of a perfect ten - which, of course, Rose deserved to be given.

One followers joked: "It’s a ten…"

Another added: "She’s not having a 9 absolutely not."

Someone else even suggested: "add another for a perfect 10."

Italian born Giovanni has previously praised actress Rose for winning the Glitterball on the BBC One show saying: "It's incredible. Thank you to this beautiful lady that made all my dreams come true.

"You became the best dancer, the best teammate. You are a dream Rose, thank you for everything."

Rose meantime is in demand to become a movie star following her dream win.

The actress has been tipped to go to Hollywood and become a millionaire by producer Andy Loveday, of UK-based Carnaby International.

He said: "Rose is an extremely talented individual and if she makes the right choices she will definitely be a movie star. I’ve got three films next year and I would love her to be in one of them."

Another movie insider added: "Her pulling power is enormous. She could earn £1million in her first year if she leaves EastEnders and goes into films."
