Strictly fans raging and say it's the 'final straw' as 'potential finalist' leaves competition

Fans of this year's Strictly Come Dancing have been left outraged more times than not thanks to those spoilers.

Every week since the BBC competition began, the results of which celebrity has been booted off the show has been leaked before they air on Sunday night.

This is seemingly because the entire show is filmed on Saturday night, but viewers will only see the live dances in the same evening.

So this means that whoever is in the studio audience is privy to the information in advance and the hashtag 'Strictly Spoiler' will trend each week.

But viewers have said it's the 'final straw' as this week sees a 'potential finalist' leave the competition - and they're really not happy.

Whilst we know who has left the show, we won't publish it in this story.

One fuming fan wrote: "The #StrictlySpoiler this evening is the final straw. this series is an absolute f***ing fix and I refuse to watch any more episodes."

"Nah you’re joking me #StrictlySpoiler," another surprised viewer said.

A third added: "I'm taking a day off work tomorrow because of the sad news."

"Just saw the #StrictlySpoiler and I'm expecting rioting on the streets of Britain and a parliamentary enquiry into the BBC once it airs," a fourth joked.

Others have made a rather bold claim: "Honestly feel more let down by the British public about this than brexit #strictlyspoiler."

Whilst another has simply asked bosses to think ahead next year: "Hey @bbcstrictly #strictly, please change it up next year and have the results show broadcast live on the same night as the main show - used to be able to avoid #StrictlySpoiler but not anymore."

It was a big night for the popular dance competition as the stars headed North for its Blackpool special.

The iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom played host to the evening's entertainment which saw Strictly stalwart Anton Du Beke fall to his knees when he received his first ever 10's.

Fans also went wild for Oldham-born Kelvin Fletcher and his partner Oti Mabuse as they performed a show stopping jive to Jailhouse Rock - complete with Elvis quiff.

The Strictly Come Dancing results show airs on Sunday at 7.15pm.
