Strictly fans 'not okay' with Diane Buswell 'wardrobe malfunction' live on air

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left shocked after Diane Buswell revealed her knickers live on air last night.

The 31-year-old was dressed as Marge Simpson while she and partner Max George performed a dance to the Simpsons theme tune.

Mid-performance, Dianne sat on a chair and flashed a pair of granny pants to the entire nation.

Although the performance received a generally positive response, some viewers were not impressed with spotting Marge's underwear, reports the Mirror.

"The real Marge would never show her knickers like that  #Strictly," penned one viewer.

"Bold of the BBC to think Marge Simpson would wear granny pants  #strictly," joked another.

"I'm not OK with seeing Marge Simpson's pants!" penned a third.

A fourth added: "Mmmmmm that was some super unflattering angles of dianne’s Marge underwear... great character from Max!"

Despite receiving some shocked responses to glimpses of Marge's underwear, many other viewers expressed their approval of the energetic show.

"Actually just choked on my G&T!!!  @MaxGeorge  on  #Strictly  as  #HomerSimpson  I can not stop giggling lol," wrote another.

The pair managed to receive 24 points for their show stopping performance that included classic props such as doughnuts and the Simpsons sofa.

Following the show, Max joked that he had actually been excited for movie week because he wanted to dress up like James Bond.

However, The Wanted singer went on to say that he had really enjoyed himself with this week's dance.
