Strictly fans left with 'huge anxiety' as exit result leaked and finalists 'confirmed'

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left experiencing huge anxiety after the latest dance off result was seemingly leaked online again.

Four couples took on the semi-final on Saturday night, including Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice, AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington, John Whaite and Johannes Radebe and Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu.

As any Strictly fan will know, the long-running BBC reality competition films all weekend content on a Saturday night – with the performance round aired live on TV while the results show is filmed on Sunday night, but not aired until Sunday.

But with the audience being live, leaks over the final result are expected as those watching in the flesh cannot keep the secret for 24 hours.

Strictly Come Dancing viewers yet again found out who had apparently left the BBC series (BBC)

This week, the exit confirmed which three couples out of the remaining four will be competing in the live final next weekend, and who has lost out with one week to go.

As ever, many viewers raced to Twitter and other places online to find out which two couples were in the bottom two and had to perform again.

While scenes will not air until Sunday night, it's already been revealed or speculated which star has been saved by the judges, and which celebrity has been sent home.

As ever, we have decided not to name the pairing who has apparently been sent home, as to not spoil it for BBC viewers.

But the exit has already been seen by many of those online, and it's safe to say fans were left feeling anxious as the two couples in the dance off were real fan favourites.

Taking to Twitter, after the semi-finalists took on two performances each, viewers shared their thoughts.

One wrote: "Update!! I've just had confirmation of the result from someone who was in the audience!! Finally!! Now I can sleep.

Another added: "It was sadly [we have removed the name so as not to spoil it for you!] :( but hey this happens to everybody. Competition does gets tighter but it’s a huge sigh of relief to know they still get to stay (spoiler alert)

Strictly Come Dancing continues Sunday at 7:20pm on BBC One.
