Strictly fans fume as judge Craig 'disrespects' Greg Wise's tribute to late sister

Strictly Come Dancing fans have blasted judge Craig Revel Horwood for his ‘lack of compassion’.

Furious viewers flocked to twitter to hit out at the opinionated judge after he gave actor Greg Wise a shocking three points following his stunning disco dance which he dedicated to his late sister.

Greg, 55, burst into tears after the moving performance, but Craig appeared to lack sympathy when it came to his critic.

The judge told an emotional Greg that his performance was ‘a bit all over the place’ before awarding him with a three-point score.

Strictly fans shared their distain as they flocked to Twitter to hit out at Craig’s harsh reaction to Greg’s tribute.

“Craig could have just been nice on this one occasion. How hard is it to show some compassion? The man was crying for goodness sake,” raged one viewer.

“Poor Greg. It pained me to see Craig acting as if his tribute to his sister was nothing. He deserved a ten – and tens all around for that matter,” another echoed.

A third fumed: “Craig just disrespected Greg so, so, so, badly.”

“Cannot believe what I have just watched. Greg deserved such a better score for that dance. He literally gave it his all,” someone else insisted.

“Raging watching Strictly tonight. Craig needs to learn to be a bit nicer,” a fifth tweeted.

Greg sadly lost his sibling Claire to cancer and was keen to remember her as he and partner Katya Jones did a disco routine.

During the VT before they danced, Greg explained that his sister was a huge disco fan before confirming that he cared for her before her tragic death.

"It's one of the hardest things when you are with someone you love, witnessing their pain and their fear and what you're able to do to mitigate that," Greg said.

"I think my sister would be absolutely thrilled that I'm doing this because of her," Greg added, before taking to the dance floor.

Despite Craig’s opinion, it’s safe to say, Greg’s admirers adored his dance.

So too did judge Anton Du Beke who awarded Greg a score of eight.

Before delivering his score, Anton called his fellow judge Craig ‘grumpy’.
