Strictly fans complain about Claudia Winkleman social distancing as change to show spotted

Strictly Come Dancing fans complained about social distancing rules, after spotting a major change to the show.

The BBC competition has strict procedures in place to protect those on the show and the wider production.

Among the many measures in place on Strictly, the dancers are tested regularly to be in close contact with their partners.

But viewers spotted one major change to the show, due to social distancing measures taken by Strictly.

Rather than the dancers being gathered upstairs together with Claudia Winkleman whilst receiving their results, they are separated downstairs and sat on individual tables.

Whilst some viewers liked this change, others weren't so keen.

John tweeted: "#Strictly get gone [sic] the social distancing how can you be so distanced when football stadiums are packed out!!!!! I miss the group all being together."

Jude added: "Awww, no gatherings in the Clauditorium."

Kira tweeted: "People can go to festivals and nightclubs but the dancers can’t stand with Claudia?"

Meaks wrote: "The dancing has been fab but what about those sparkly tables?!"

But Nana disagreed, saying: "Giving the dancers their own tables makes so much sense. Its mad how this was not implemented years ago."

And Karen said: "I'm so glad they got rid of that faffing about bit when they get their results. It was seriously annoying. Social distancing has its positives after all."
