Strictly fans can't get their heads around Claudia Winkleman's 'Christmas tree' dress

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left scratching their heads over co-host Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly's bold fashion choices.

A roster of celebs from previous series have been taking to the floor, all to win the thumbs up or thumbs down of the judging bench.

The famous four, Shirley Ballas, Bruno Tonioli, Motsi Mabuse and resident meanie Craig Revel-Horwood, are all back on judging duties, and helming it all is co-hosts Claudia and Tess Daly.

While Tess went for a glittery silver gown, Claudia opted for a glittery green number - while it certainly matches the festive theme, one fan reckons she's come dressed as a Christmas tree.

"And Claudia's done up as a Christmas Tree. Probably #Strictly," they wrote.

Another saw Tess' dress and scolded: "So I'm guessing Tess had some Turkey foil left over so decided to make a dress for #Strictly."

Others were much more fond, one gushing: "watching strictly for the first time in ages and tell u what, a would give all my life savings to claudia winkleman..."

The show features some of the most iconic previous competitors taking to the floor.

Debbie McGee and Kevin Clifton, Chizzy Akudolu, Mark Wright and Janette Manrara and Richard Arnold and Luba Mushtuk are all hoping to lift the Glitterball Trophy.

There's also a few sets of couples competing - Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell, as well as Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez, are the two couples putting on their dancing shoes together.

It should tide fans over until next year, with the recent main series having wrapped up recently.

It saw Emmerdale's Kelvin Fletcher and his pro partner Oti Mabuse crowned champs, having edged out Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden and Emma Barton and Anton Du Beke in the final.
