Strictly Come Dancing and The Great British Bake Off are almost upon up - and with just days to go, it appears the two distinctly different shows may have something in common after all.
Strictly fans took to Twitter earlier this week to claim one of the young contestants on this year’s GBBO is a dead-ringer for host Claudia Winkleman.
Steph, a 28-year-old shop assistant, shared Claudia’s thick dark hair, full fringe and piercing eyes, with many people convinced she is the Strictly host’s long-lost daughter.
Taking to Twitter, one fan was so convinced they were related, they tweeted the 47-year-old directly to share their theory.
Clearly amused, Claudia responded simply with a ‘crying with laughter’ emoji.
The much-loved BBC presenter has three children, two sons named Arthur and Jake, and a 13-year-old daughter named Matilda.
Meanwhile, Bake Off contestant Steph hails from Chester and lives at home with her mum.
She’s a huge nutrition and fitness fan but loves to make biscuits and sourdough loaves too.
Strictly Come Dancing is set to return to BBC One in September while GBBO returns on Tuesday.
