Strictly fans all have the same message for show ahead of final

Strictly Come Dancing fans are all sending pretty much the same message ahead of the show's final.

The BBC dance competition will come to an end after what is set to be a spectacular grand final on Saturday night.

Bill Bailey, Jamie Laing, Maisie Smith and HRVY are all going head-to-head in a bid to be crowned Strictly 2020 champion and walk away with the Gliterball trophy.

And fans were eagerly awaiting the start of the show following a surprise press conference from the Prime Minister on Saturday afternoon.

Boris Johnson announced that London and much of the South East would be place under new Tier 4 restrictions with rules no too dissimilar to the national lockdown.

He also changed the Christmas guidance with those in Tier 4 no longer allowed to mix at all and those in Tier 1, 2 and 3 can only mix for 24 hours - Christmas Day.

And Strictly fans are quickly trying to move on from the news.

"No pressure, @bbcstrictly @TessDaly @ClaudiaWinkle #Strictly #StrictlyFinal but we’re going to need all the sparkle you’ve got," one fan wrote.

Another said: "All I’ll say is thank the lord the #Strictly final is on tonight to perk us all up."

"@bbcstrictly has never been more needed this evening," a third added.

A fourth echoed: "At least we have the #StrictlyFinal We REALLY need #Strictly tonight!"
