Strictly Come Dancing professionals Neil and Katya Jones are reported to have secretly split a month before announcing the news.
The pro dancers went public with their split in a shock announcement last weekend, less than a year after Katya was caught cheating with comedian Seann Walsh, who she was paired with on the show at the time.
But now, it's said they actually separated over a month ago.
After working together throughout their 11-year relationship, Neil and Katya are said to have set up their own individual companies weeks ago, reports The Sun .
The publication reports that Neil set up his own company, Jonesey Ltd, on July 31, and that Katya set up her own company, Sokolova Ltd - after her maiden name - on August 5.
Both the companies are classified as "amusement and recreation activities".
The exes, who had been together since 2008 and married for six years, had always been business partners too.
They had their own studio and events space, called The Joneses' Studio, in Hampshire.
It was used to host dance classes and private lessons.
They also have their own website, neilandkatya.com, which is still live.
The statement released last weekend said: "As our fans and loyal supporters you are really important to us and so we wanted to let you know some news.
"After 11 years, we have made the mutual decision to separate.
"We will always love each other, just in a different way as friends. This will never change what a great team we make and we are really proud of everything we have achieved together.
"Our shared love of dance means we will keep working and dancing together as well as exploring individual projects. No matter what we do we will always support and respect each other.
"We wish one another every happiness and we will remain the best of friends. We are really looking forward to getting back to the ballroom and can't wait to keep on dancing.
"Lots of love from us both."
A spokeswoman for Neil and Katya made clear the split was a recent decision, and not based on the scandal of last year's Strictly.
She said: "It would be incorrect and unfair to attribute their separation to one isolated incident."
